Spend a little time with a tree
You do not have to travel far. There is something worth noticing just around the corner.

Begin on a familiar path
Choose a tree on a route you already walk. Notice its leaves today and the shape of its shadow tomorrow. A familiar path changes when you begin to pay attention.
Let your senses lead
Listen to the leaves and feel the wind on your skin. Notice the texture of the bark. Keep a safe distance, leave living things undisturbed, and let your visit be gentle.
Take one observation home
You do not have to take a photograph. Remember one colour or sound and write it down later. Nature asks no performance of you, only a little attention.
